1. About Sharon Teresa Studio
Sharon Teresa Studio is a small-batch luxury candle studio based in Charleston, South Carolina. These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and your purchase of any products offered through it. References to "we," "us," or "the Studio" mean Sharon Teresa Studio. 2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website, browsing our collection, or completing a purchase, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, that you have read and understood these Terms, and that you agree to be bound by them. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The date of the most recent revision will be indicated at the top of this page. Continued use of the Services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
3. Products and Orders
3.1 Product Descriptions We make every effort to accurately represent our products, including scent profiles, dimensions, burn times, and appearance. Because our candles are hand-poured in small batches, slight variations in surface texture, scent throw, or appearance may occur from one batch to another. These variations are inherent to artisan production and do not constitute a defect or misrepresentation.
3.2 Order Acceptance Placing an order on our website constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept, decline, or cancel any order at our sole discretion, including in cases of pricing errors, product unavailability, suspected fraudulent activity, or orders that appear to be placed for resale purposes inconsistent with our distribution philosophy. If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method.
3.3 Pricing All prices are listed in US dollars and are subject to change without notice. In the event of a pricing error on our website, we reserve the right to cancel the affected order and notify you promptly. We are not obligated to fulfill orders placed at an incorrect price.
3.4 Payment Payment is due at the time of purchase. We accept payment methods as displayed at checkout. By submitting payment, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.
3.5 Resale Sharon Teresa Studio products are sold for personal use and gifting only. Purchase for the purpose of resale, redistribution, or commercial use without prior written authorization from Sharon Teresa Studio is prohibited.
4. Shipping and Returns
Shipping and return terms are governed by our Shipping Policy and Return Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference. In the event of a conflict between those policies and these Terms, the specific policy controls on matters within its scope.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 Ownership All content on the Sharon Teresa Studio website and associated with our products — including but not limited to our name, logo, wordmarks, label designs, packaging system, product photography, written copy, scent names, brand language, and visual identity — is the exclusive property of Sharon Teresa Studio and is protected by United States copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws.
5.2 No Unauthorized Use You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, modify, publicly display, sell, or create derivative works from any Sharon Teresa Studio intellectual property without our prior written consent. This prohibition applies to all brand assets in any medium, including digital reproduction, social media use beyond ordinary personal sharing, commercial application, and physical reproduction.
5.3 Limited Personal Use You may share images of Sharon Teresa Studio products you have purchased for personal, non-commercial purposes, including on personal social media accounts. Such sharing must accurately represent the product and must not imply endorsement, affiliation, or partnership with Sharon Teresa Studio unless expressly authorized in writing.

6. Limitation of Liability
6.1 No Warranty The Services and all products are provided on an "as is" basis. Sharon Teresa Studio makes no warranties, express or implied, beyond those required by applicable law, including no implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose beyond the product's intended use as a decorative home fragrance candle.
6.2 Liability Cap To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sharon Teresa Studio's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms, the Services, or any product purchased shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product or order giving rise to the claim.
6.3 Exclusion of Consequential Damages Sharon Teresa Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services or any product, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
6.4 Product Safety Our candles are intended for use by adults in accordance with the safety instructions included with each product. Sharon Teresa Studio is not liable for damages arising from misuse, failure to follow safety instructions, or use by minors.
7. Candle Safety
By purchasing a Sharon Teresa Studio candle, you acknowledge that you have read and will follow the safety guidelines included with your order, including burning within sight, keeping away from flammable materials, keeping away from children and pets, and never leaving a burning candle unattended. Sharon Teresa Studio candles are intended for use by adults only.
8. User Conduct
You agree not to use the Services for any unlawful purpose, to submit false or misleading information, to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Services, or to engage in any conduct that could damage, disable, or impair the Services or interfere with
any other party's use of them.
9. Third-Party Services
Our website is powered by Shopify. Your use of the Services is also subject to Shopify's terms of service and privacy policy, which govern Shopify's processing of your data. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party platforms, payment processors, or shipping carriers once your order has left our studio.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your purchase from Sharon Teresa Studio shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Charleston County, South Carolina. You consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

11. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed if modification is not possible, without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.
12. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Shipping Policy, Return Policy, and Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sharon Teresa Studio with respect to your use of the Services and supersede all prior agreements, representations, or understandings.
